About the Founder

Darko Mišić
Founder & Principal

Kaizen Development Management was founded by Darko Mišić, a development director with more than fifteen years delivering large-scale, integrated projects in ultra-luxury hospitality, branded residences, lifestyle communities and golf-residential masterplans across the Adriatic and the Middle East.

His career spans three of the region's most significant developments — directing Aman's flagship European project, leading development management at Luštica Bay (Montenegro's largest greenfield investment), and delivering Regent-branded 5-star residences at Porto Montenegro. Across these mandates he has overseen the full development lifecycle — from strategic planning, feasibility and design through procurement, FIDIC contracting and on-site delivery.

He holds an MSc in Civil Engineering from the University of Belgrade, a Postgraduate Diploma in Construction Management from the University of Salford, and an RICS certification in Property Finance and Investment. Kaizen DM channels this experience into a lean, hands-on consultancy — bringing principal-level direction to every engagement, rather than distant advisory.
